Treelake Village is a large established community in Granite Bay run by the Treelake Village Association. Most homes went up in the mid-to-late 1990s, by Pulte and other tract builders, as a mix of single-story ranch plans and two-story four-bedroom homes on standard lots along streets such as Treelake Road, Beckenham Drive and Parkford Circle. Some lots back onto the community lakes. Treelake park and nature trails sit inside the neighborhood. The gated Granite Bay Villas townhomes are also part of the association.
Single-story and two-story, same clips
The C9 LED line is clipped to the gutter lip or shingle edge along each eave and up each gable, cut to the run on site. A single-story ranch is a short ladder job with one long eave and a gable or two. A two-story plan has a second set of gables above the garage and entry and takes a taller ladder from the driveway. Tell us if the roof is composition shingle or tile; the clip changes.
Power comes from an exterior outlet with a timer at the plug. On homes where the only outlet is in the garage, we run a flat cord under the garage door seal.
Lake lots and the rear roofline
If your Treelake Village lot backs onto a lake, the back of the house is seen from across the water. Some owners light the rear eave and deck rail as well as the front. It is quoted as a separate run and usually needs a rear outlet. Trees in Treelake are now close to 30 years old; front-yard trees take a spiral wrap on the trunk and main limbs with a set number of strands. Driveway stakes and shrub lights round out the front.
Color, association, takedown and quote
Warm white and multicolor are both available; pick either or mix them, for example warm white on the house and multicolor on a tree. Treelake has an association; check its seasonal-decoration rule and tell us the dates. Mid-season repairs are covered. Takedown happens in January and storage until next year is available.
