Half-acre lots, custom homes and oaks
Clover Valley runs along Clover Valley Road between Sierra College Boulevard and Park Drive on the east side of Rocklin. It is not a tract. The homes are custom and semi-custom, some from the 1970s and others from subdivisions mapped from the late 1980s on, such as Clover Valley Woods and Clover Valley Hills. Lots run from a half acre to more than an acre, and the mature oaks were part of the city’s tree-preservation review when the newer sections were planned. Many lots are on a slope with hillside views.
A custom home means a custom roofline. There may be a wrap-around porch, several gables at different heights and a detached garage. We quote per run and we ask for a photo from the road, because no two Clover Valley homes have the same measurements.
Long driveways and big trees
Driveways here can be a few hundred feet. Stake lights along the drive mark the edge after dark, and they run on the same timer as the roofline. The oaks take spiral wraps on the trunk and the first set of limbs. A mature oak can take ten or more strands, and the count is stated in the quote so you know what you are getting. Fence lines along the road frontage can be lit with the same C9 LED line used on the roof.
On the house, C9 bulbs are clipped to the gutter lip or the shingle edge on commercial-grade line cut to each run. If you have a metal roof or a tile roof, tell us; the clip type changes. Power comes from an exterior outlet with a timer at the plug, and on a large lot we may run from two outlets so the roofline and the driveway are on separate leads.
Color, season, quote
You can choose warm white or multicolor. Warm white is the usual pick on the larger custom homes and suits the oaks. Installs run early November through December; takedown is in January with storage available. Anything that fails in the season is fixed on a return visit. If your street has an association, check its seasonal-decoration rule and we work inside that window.
