Christmas light installation for WestPark homes west of Fiddyment Road in Roseville.

Two-story tract homes, mid-2000s and newer

WestPark sits in west Roseville, west of Fiddyment Road and north of Pleasant Grove Boulevard, inside the city’s West Roseville Specific Plan. The plan was adopted in 2004 and the homes followed. Most of the neighborhood is production housing from the mid-2000s onward from builders such as Lennar, and two-story plans are common. The Club at WestPark is the separate 55+ section, built by Del Webb and Pulte between 2006 and 2014, and its homes are mostly single-story.

On a two-story WestPark home the roofline job is a front-elevation job in most cases: the main eave, the garage eave and one or two gables facing the street. We clip C9 LED bulbs to the gutter lip on a commercial-grade line cut to the length of each run. Nothing is draped. Corners get a clip on each side so the line turns clean.

Lots here are standard suburban size, so the front yard usually has one or two young trees and a row of shrubs. Those get spiral tree wraps and net or strand lighting on the shrubs. If your home is on a corner lot, the side elevation can be added.

Power, timers and the HOA window

Every install plugs into an exterior outlet with a timer at the plug. You pick the on and off times. One outlet near the garage covers most WestPark front elevations; a second outlet is used when trees and roofline are on the same side of the house and the load is better split.

WestPark has a homeowners association. Check the association’s seasonal-decoration rule and we work inside that window. Installs run early November through December, and takedown is in January.

    Warm white or multicolor

Both are available. Warm white matches the stucco and earth-tone exteriors used across WestPark. Multicolor shows up more from the street and is the common pick for homes with kids. Some owners run warm white on the roofline and multicolor on the trees.

Quotes are free and usually done from the address, the number of stories and the parts you want lit. Call (916) 659-6549 or use the form at the bottom of this page. Nearby pages: Roseville, Fiddyment Farm and Sun City Roseville.

    Common questions in WestPark

Can you do a single-story home in The Club at WestPark?
Yes. Single-story rooflines go faster and need shorter ladders. Quote it the same way: address, roof type and the parts you want lit.

Do you fix lights that go out in December?
Yes. Call and we come back and replace the bulb or the run that failed.

Do I need to be home for the install?
No. We need access to the front yard and an exterior outlet. Takedown works the same way.
