What Elverta looks like
Elverta is flat, with no hills and no large body of water, spread over almost nine square miles along Elverta Road and West Elverta Road. It was carved out of the same 1912 fruit-land subdivision as Rio Linda, two and a half miles south. Parcels range from half-acre lots with horses allowed, to one-acre subdivisions such as the 1980s homes around Quail Ranch Court, to ten-acre pieces on Newton Road with barns and arenas. Most homes are single-story and owner-occupied.
A plan for a long, low house on a big lot
A single-story ranch house with a wide front elevation gets a long straight roofline run. We cut the C9 LED line to the roofline and clip it to the gutter lip, with a return up any gable over the garage or entry. The front fence, if there is one, is the next most visible line from the road; we run bulbs on the top rail and stake lights along the drive.
Elverta lots can have the house far from the road and the outlet far from the fence. We map the outlets, size the cord to the distance so the far end of a run stays as bright as the near end, and put a timer at each plug. Barns and shops on their own power are lit as a separate run.
Trees here are often a single large oak or a row of planted trees along a driveway. A spiral trunk wrap with a set strand count, or a full canopy wrap on a smaller tree, both work.
Scheduling and nearby areas
Installs run from early November through December, takedown in January, and we store your lights until next year. Mid-season, if a section goes dark, we come out and fix it. Warm white and multicolor are both available, and permanent year-round lighting is an option. Elverta is about 30 miles northwest of our base in Folsom; we also serve Rio Linda, Antelope and Roseville, six miles east. Call (916) 659-6549 with the address, number of stories, roof type and what you want lit for a free quote.
Common questions in Elverta
Do you install on manufactured homes?
Yes. We clip to the eave or fascia the same way and run power from the nearest exterior outlet.
Can the barn and the house be on different timers?
Yes. Each run has its own timer at the plug, so you can set them to different hours.
Is Elverta too far for you to come out?
No. Elverta is in our Sacramento County service area and we schedule it with Rio Linda and Antelope installs.
