Roofline and tree lighting for the newer homes of Fiddyment Farm in west Roseville.
A community still being built
Fiddyment Farm is a master-planned community in west Roseville. The oldest homes date to about 2010 and builders are still adding phases. Signature Homes built Woodbridge, Taylor Morrison built Monarch, Lennar built Covara and Monterosa, and JMC Homes has single-story and two-story plans from 2018 through 2025. The result is a neighborhood of newer production homes with young landscaping and front yards that are still filling in.
What new construction means for the lights
New homes have clean gutter lips and straight eaves, which is the easiest roofline to clip. C9 LED bulbs go on a commercial-grade line clipped to the gutter or shingle edge, cut to the run, with a clip on each side of every corner. Two-story plans get the upper and lower eaves done as separate runs so each has its own clean start and end.
Trees in Fiddyment Farm are mostly young street trees. A small tree takes two to four strands in a spiral wrap. Shrubs along the front walk take net lights. Because the yards are not yet shaded by big trees, stake lights along the driveway show well.
HOA or no HOA
Fiddyment Farm is not one association. Some sections have an HOA and some homes in the community are sold with none. If yours has one, check the association’s seasonal-decoration rule and we work inside that window. If it does not, the only limit is the season: we install from early November through December and take down in January.
Colors and timers
Warm white and multicolor are both available. Warm white suits the stucco fronts of the newer phases. Multicolor is the pick for a brighter street-facing display. Installs run off an exterior outlet with a timer at the plug. If your garage outlet is on the far side from the roofline run, we route the lead along the wall so it is not crossing the walk.
Quotes, fixes and takedown
A quote is free and usually needs only the address, the number of stories, the roof type and the parts you want lit. Call (916) 659-6549 or use the form below. Anything that stops working in December gets fixed on a return visit. Takedown is in January, and we can store the lights until next year. See also Roseville, WestPark and Morgan Creek.
Common questions in Fiddyment Farm
My house was built this year. Can lights go on a brand-new roof?
Yes. The clips hold the line at the gutter lip or shingle edge. No screws, nails or adhesive go into the roof.
Can you light the stone or stucco columns at the entry?
Yes. Garland and a warm-white pre-lit wreath are the usual choice for entry columns.
How early can the lights go up?
Installs start in early November. If your section has an HOA, we follow its seasonal window.
