Single-story Christmas light installation, timers and January takedown for Sun City Lincoln Hills.
The homes
Sun City Lincoln Hills is a 55+ community in Lincoln built by Del Webb and Pulte between 1999 and 2008. It has about 6,800 homes, mostly single-story, in numbered villages across nearly 3,000 acres. Two 18-hole courses, the Hills Course and the Orchard Course, run through it, and the Orchard Creek and Kilaga Springs lodges are the recreation centers. Typical plans run 1,500 to 1,700 square feet. Some lots back onto open space or a fairway.
A single-story home is the easiest roofline we light. The eave is one height, reachable from a short ladder. We clip C9 LED bulbs to the gutter lip on a commercial-grade line cut to each run. The line follows the garage return and the front gable. Corners get a clip on each side. On a lot that backs onto a fairway, the rear eave can be lit as a second run if you want it seen from the course.
What a Sun City Lincoln Hills install includes
- Roofline lights on the front elevation, with sides added if you want them.
- Net lights on the front shrubs and stake lights along the walk.
- A warm-white pre-lit wreath over the garage or at the door.
- A timer at the exterior outlet, set to the on and off times you choose.
- A return visit if anything stops working in December.
- Takedown in January, and storage of the lights until next year if you want it.
Warm white and multicolor are the two bulb options. Warm white is the common choice on a single-story stucco home.
Association window and quotes
The community has an association. Check its seasonal-decoration rule and we work inside that window for both install and removal. Installs run early November through December, and takedown dates are set in January the same way.
Quotes are free. Give us the address and the parts you want lit, and in most cases we quote without a visit. Call (916) 659-6549 or use the form at the bottom of the page. We also serve Lincoln as a whole, along with Twelve Bridges and Catta Verdera next door.
