Christmas light installation in Stonelake, the west Elk Grove community around the Stonelake Clubhouse.
Stonelake homes
Stonelake is in western Elk Grove, ZIP 95757. Houses were built around 2000 to 2004. They are single-family, stucco, with concrete tile roofs, on standard suburban lots laid out around greenbelt trails that lead to the clubhouse, schools and parks. Single-story and two-story plans sit on the same streets. Lots back onto greenbelts in many places, so the front is the face that shows and the back fence often faces a path.
Stonelake has a homeowners association. Check its seasonal-decoration rule for the window lights may be up, and we work inside it.
How the roofline goes on
We clip C9 LED bulbs on commercial-grade line to the edge of the roof. On tile, the clip hooks under the first course. Along a gutter, the clip rides the gutter lip. The line is cut to the roofline at each corner and each gable so it follows the shape of the house instead of draping. A two-story home takes an upper run and a lower run. The garage gable, the entry and any front window trim are the usual add-ons.
Power comes from an exterior outlet, usually by the garage or the front door. A timer at the plug turns the lights on at dusk and off at the hour you set.
Trees, shrubs, walks and the back path
Trees here are about 20 years old and mid-size. A spiral wrap of the trunk and main limbs with even strand spacing is the standard tree job. Net lights cover the shrubs. The front walk and the driveway edge take stake lights. If your back fence faces a greenbelt path, fence line lights along the top rail show to the path.
Warm white and multicolor are both stocked. A warm-white lit wreath on the door or the garage is a common add in Stonelake.
Season dates and how to get a quote
The install season is early November through December. Anything that fails during the season gets fixed. Takedown is in January, and we store your lights until next year if you want. There is no charge for a quote. Send the address, the number of stories, the roof type and the parts you want lit, with a photo from the sidewalk. Most Stonelake quotes are done from that. Call (916) 659-6549. Stonelake is about 30 miles southwest of Folsom. See the Elk Grove page for the city, and Laguna Ridge and Madeira for the newer communities to the south.
