In December the outlet traffic backs up past your neighborhood whether you like it or not. Might as well give them something to look at. Natoma Station Christmas light installation means a quick trip across town for our crew, and the houses here, 1990s builds with grown-in trees, are about as friendly to light as Folsom gets.

A Turn Pike Drive house already raised the bar

One home on Turn Pike Drive won the Hollywood Christmas category in the City of Folsom’s 2025 Holiday Lights Contest. That’s the award for best theme and characters. Not ours. But it tells you what the neighbors are capable of, and that folks will be driving through to see it.

You don’t need a movie set on the lawn to hold your own. A clean roofline and one well-wrapped tree beats a yard full of tangled extension cords every time.

Natoma Station Christmas light installation where there’s no master HOA

There’s no master HOA here. Residents on the main single-family streets and in The Bungalows report no association at all. There are CC&Rs on file, but neighbors describe them as not very restrictive. So no decoration window that we know of. Lights can go up whenever you want them.

A few pockets are different. Coventry at Natoma Station has its own homeowners association, and so do Woodbridge and Oak Villas. Live in one of those? Ask what the current rules say about holiday lights and exterior attachments before you call (916) 659-6549. We’ll match both ladder days to whatever you hear back.

    What we hang and how

We supply the lights. All of them. Your job is pointing.

Roofline lights go along the eaves, gutters and gable peaks. The tract styles vary a lot from street to street here, so we look at your photos before deciding what to outline. Clips hold everything. Nothing gets stapled to fascia or nailed into trim.

Tree wraps are the best thing going here. The first houses went in around 1992, so the street trees have three decades on them. A trunk that thick takes a tight, even wrap and shows from the far end of Natoma Station Drive.

Pillar wraps dress up porch posts. Stake lighting lines the front walk, and we keep the stakes clear of the irrigation. A lit wreath fits the space over the garage door. Lit garland frames the entry.

Have a fence along one of the neighborhood parks or a walking path? We can run lights down that too. See our fence line lighting page.

Timers come standard, so nobody has to remember a plug at 11 p.m.

We’re Folsom people, a family crew. Families walking kids to Natoma Station Elementary School and commuters heading for the light rail station pass our jobs every morning in November. We also do The Parkway nearby, plus homes all over Folsom and Rancho Cordova down the freeway.

    Two minutes on the phone

Quotes are done by phone at (916) 659-6549, or from pictures you send us. Count the stories, tell us the roof type if you know it, and say which pieces you want. Two minutes, tops. Not near a phone? The contact page works.

    After New Year’s

We come back in January, take everything down and drive off with it. No bins in your rafters. If a strand acts up before then, (916) 659-6549 gets it handled.

By then the outlet traffic has thinned out too. You get your street back, and your gutters.

What Natoma Station neighbors ask us

Do any Natoma Station streets answer to an HOA about Christmas lights?

A few do. There’s no master HOA, and residents on the main single-family streets and in The Bungalows report none. Coventry, Woodbridge and Oak Villas have their own associations, so check there first.

I live in Coventry at Natoma Station. Can you still do my lights?

Yes, once you know what the Coventry association allows. Find out its current rule on holiday lights and exterior attachments and we’ll plan the dates and the layout to fit.

Are the street trees in Natoma Station big enough to wrap?

Most are. The neighborhood dates to the early 1990s, so trunks are well established. We wrap the trunk and lower limbs and remove it all in January.

My house is on Turn Pike Drive. Do I have to match the contest winner?

No. One home there won the city’s Hollywood Christmas category in 2025, and it wasn’t our work. A clean roofline and one well-wrapped tree hold their own next to anything.
