Your street tree is still tied to its nursery stakes. We’re not wrapping that one this year, and it knows it. Everything south of the freeway is that new, which changes how Folsom Ranch Christmas light installation works: fresh stucco nobody wants a hole in, solar on the roof, and a builder’s garage with zero bins of old lights in it. Good. You don’t need any. We bring ours. (916) 659-6549.

New houses, new problems (small ones)

Solar panels. Homes built from 2020 on were required to have solar, so most roofs here carry panels. Our roofline lights stay at the eave and gutter line, held by clips, well away from the panels and their wiring. Nothing we hang shades them or touches them.

Two stories. Most plans out here are two-story, with a few single-story ones mixed in. The second-story gable is where a house gets noticed from Mangini Parkway or Easton Valley Parkway, and reaching it off a garage stepladder is a bad plan. We’ll get it.

Young trees. A sapling can’t carry a wrap. If your lot kept one of the preserved blue oaks nearby, or you planted something with a real trunk, we can do tree wraps on that. Otherwise we put the effort lower: stake lighting along the walk and the driveway edge fills in for the canopy you don’t have yet. We set stakes clear of the drip lines and sprinkler heads that your new landscaping depends on.

Fresh paint and stucco. Clips only. No nails, no staples, no anchors. Once we’ve cleared the eaves in January, your paint job is exactly as the builder left it.

Sloped back yards. Some rear yards slope away from the house. If you want the back eaves lit anyway, tell us about the grade so we bring the right ladder.

One Folsom Ranch HOA? We couldn’t find it

People assume there’s one big Folsom Ranch HOA. We couldn’t confirm that one exists. What we found is village by village. Russell Ranch, the Enclave, White Rock Springs Ranch, Regency and the Preserve each have their own association. And a handful of the earliest Mangini Ranch tracts came with no association whatsoever.

So we can’t hand you one set of dates for the whole area, and we won’t invent them. If your village has an association, pull up its current rules on holiday lighting and read us the relevant bit at (916) 659-6549. We schedule both trips, up and down, to fit, and we keep to anything it says about hours. If you’re in a no-HOA tract, put them up the day the moving boxes are gone, if you like.

Either way we leave the common areas alone. Entry signs, parkway trees and the Alder Creek corridor aren’t a homeowner’s to light.

Folsom Ranch Christmas light installation: what you can add

Beyond the roofline, trees and stakes:

    • Pillar wraps on the porch columns.
    • Lit wreaths on the upstairs gable or over the garage door.
    • Lit garland looped over the front door or tied to the porch rail.
    • Timers, so it all comes on at dusk and shuts off for the night without you.

Shrubs too young for much else can still take a net of lights. Our bush lighting page covers that.

North of the freeway we hang lights in Broadstone, Empire Ranch and all over Folsom, so the truck is never far.

    How to book us

Phone (916) 659-6549. We’ll want to know your floor plan (one story or two), where the outdoor outlets are, and which pieces you’re after. A couple of photos sent by text, email or the contact form does the same job faster. The quote comes from that. Tell us which village you’re in while you’re at it.

Folsom Ranch Christmas light installation means a short trip for us. We live in Folsom, so getting to you means crossing Highway 50 and not much else. Parents doing the Mangini Ranch Elementary School drop-off will probably see our truck in November.

What Folsom Ranch neighbors ask us

Is there a Folsom Ranch master HOA with a Christmas light rule?

We couldn’t confirm a master association. Villages like Russell Ranch, the Enclave and Regency each have their own, and some early Mangini Ranch tracts have none. Check your own village’s current rules and we’ll work inside them.

Will the lights interfere with my solar panels?

No. Lights are clipped at the eaves and gutters, away from the panels and their wiring. We don’t attach anything to the array or run cords across it.

My trees were just planted. What does Folsom Ranch Christmas light installation look like in a yard like that?

Young staked trees shouldn’t be wrapped, so we use stake lighting along walks and driveways, plus wreaths, garland and column wraps near the entry.

Will clips leave marks on a brand-new house?

They shouldn’t. Clips grip the gutter lip, shingle edge or tile edge, and we don’t drill, nail or staple into stucco, trim or roofing.
